I am Srushti Deshmukh Gowda, an IAS officer of 2019 batch and posted in the Madhya Pradesh Cadre. I am a resident of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and have completed my studies, from schooling to engineering from Bhopal. I have done chemical engineering as my graduation and passed out in the year 2018. By God’s grace I cracked UPSC Civil services examination in my very First attempt with Rank 5 and scored the highest marks in Mains General Studies Papers 1 to 4 (470) in CSE 2018.
After completing my academic training at the prestigious LBSNAA, Mussoorie, I did my district training from Dindori, Madhya Pradesh where I got an exposure of the tribal way of living as the district is a Scheduled district. Then I got posted as SDM Gadarwara, Narsinghpur where I was dealing with revenue court, law and order issues, and Local elections. I am currently posted in District Burhanpur as the CEO of Zila Panchayat and my work concerns the rural development arena. This role allows me to work closely with different departments like education, health, social justice, livelihood and so on at the field level.  
I try to take out time for reading as it’s a hobby since my childhood. I prefer Non Fiction ranging from philosophy & spirituality to science, technology, history and Memoirs. My mother taught me Yoga and meditation and I’ve tried to make it a part of my regular routine. I’m a nature lover and also like to write poetry sometimes. This blog is an effort to share Resources for UPSC preparation and also my experiences as a young lady officer in the field.
